PRE-CAMP
For kids going into kindergarten and younger
along with a parent
9:00-11:00am During Day Camp
PRE-CAMP will open up camp to kids of all ages!
If you have a child that is going into Kindergarten or younger, and you would like to participate in Day Camp, this is the NEW program for you!
This year we will welcome our younger children and a parent to Day Camp for a two hour period in the morning where they will have their own program filled with:
- Opening worship and music
- Group activity and game
- Crafts
- A Closing Snack
- Interaction with the full Day Camp program
A parent must stay with your camper during PRE-CAMP.
There is a one-time $10 registration for the camper and the parent to help cover craft supplies and snacks.
What is Day Camp?
Day Camp is a weeklong program held at Faith Lutheran Church, but run by summer staff counselors from Mt. Cross Lutheran Camp in Santa Cruz, CA.
Throughout the week students going into 1st through 8th grade will participate in activities such as:
- Bible Encounters
- Worship
- Large & Small Group Games
- Crafts
- Singing
- Archery
- Community Building Activities
Mt. Cross Counselors are well trained in working with students, and our volunteers at Faith Lutheran partner with them to create a week of camp here at the church similar to what they would experience by going away to camp!
This year's theme is FULLY DRENCHED based on Romans chapter 6. Through our exploration of the Bible, campers will be looking at how they are drenched in dust, life, service, light and hope!
