Sunday Morning Lay Leaders
Each Sunday, many lay volunteers cheerfully and skillfully do the tasks to make worship happen at Faith Lutheran. Signing up for lay tasks is easy and can be done via THIS ONLINE FORM ("Lay Task Schedule") or by calling or emailing the church office. Even if you need to make changes later, it helps staff tremendously if you sign up for regular monthly tasks. Our worship volunteers serve in many different roles - as acolytes, assisting ministers, readers, coffee hosts, communion assistants, prayer ministers, sound techs, videographers, ushers, song leaders, and musicians. Thanks to our lay worship leaders, spoken and sung words can be heard clearly, remote worship participants can attend worship online, and all people feel welcome, engaged, and included. Some of these roles can be filled by a single trained person, others are easy to do with a partner or a family together, and some can be done or assisted by children ... but all volunteers are vital to engage the whole church body in the worship experience. |
