​​Pastor Charlane began serving in churches when she was 15. For 20 years she worked as organist, pianist, choir director, and director of music for multiple churches and denominations before feeling called to enter seminary and pursue a different avenue of church leadership and ministry. As a pastor, she has served churches in Minnesota, Montana and California. She has been serving at FLC since February 2014. Her education includes a BA from Ripon College in Wisconsin, a Master of Divinity from Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry from Claremont School of Theology, both in California.
